Illustration Friday

This was done as an idea for a cover for a supplement in The Times,
it was about learning at work with the Open University.
I used the shield logo as the shape of the rocket.
Alas, it was rejected along with my four other ideas.
So I'm now into my second year without a payed for
commission.

Cover ideas for Open University Supplement

If I were to sum up my life in three words it would be:- Rejection, failure and disappointment. These were all rejected ideas for a supplement in The Times about studying at work, some of them use the OU's shield with a circle in it. All very embarassing.

Michael Clayton

Watched St. George at work last night in a very gripping film 'Michael Clayton'.
A masterpiece of brilliant writing and all very underplayed.
Hollywood you can do it sometimes, please keep trying!
